The Association contacted the DNR about placing a prominent sign indicating the restricted high speed boating hours on our lake. As you can see in the attached pictures, they followed through and a new sign has been posted. In addition, a new message board was installed with additional information along with several life preservers for use. Also, the Association obtained a “loon alert” poster to add to the message board warning boaters to avoid the loons as much as possible. We now have a contact person at the DNR that seems receptive to ideas to improve the public boat launch.
